E-cigarettes vs. Chantix

In light of the thousands of serious adverse events involving users of Chantix and the apparent fact that Pfizer is undermining its own warnings by denying any causal association between Chantix and the reported events, why is it that the anti-smoking groups which have called for electronic cigarettes to be pulled from the market are not calling for Chantix to also be pulled?

It's really a shame that the FDA would rather approve a drug that can cause suicidal thoughts, depression, insomnia, along with a dozen of other side effects, over e-cigs that are much less harmful (if harmful at all) compared to Chantix. Not to mention the success rate of e-cigs is much higher than the exaggerated rate Pfizer claims (44%), as pointed out in this comparison:

Sure, Chantix works for 'some' people, but at what cost? If it weren't for e-cigs, many more lives would have been wasted on this drug. It's time that we educate the community and spread the word.
