New Jersey - Oppose resolutions that support damaging federal regulation over e-cigarettes and vapor products

New Jersey

Very soon, the New Jersey legislature will be voting on two resolutions (SCR105 and ACR93) which “urge the federal government to regulate electronic smoking devices.” Although these resolutions are not actual laws, their discussion in the legislature gives New Jersey residents a valuable opportunity to educate lawmakers on this issue. Clearly some education is needed as the authors of these resolutions continue to deceptively refer to vapor products as “smoking devices.”

Please take action now by sending an email to your New Jersey lawmakers urging them to vote NO on both of these resolutions.

(Writing Tip #1) If you have a lot to say, please craft your email in a separate word doc and then copy/paste it into the field provided.  If you take too long, they system will time out and you will lose your work.
(Writing Tip #2) Although we've provided a prewritten email with compelling talking points, we would strongly encourage you to edit the email because personalized communications to legislators are far more persuasive than form letters.  At a minimum, PLEASE INSERT YOUR PERSONAL STORY (just a few sentences) in the text of your email.
